These fish were caught Sat 31-10-09 At Faulkner beacon area Angelo caught the 5470 grm fish at 710 am

These fish were caught on Sat 31st October around the Faulkner Beacon area. Angelo caught the 5.470 gm fish at 7.10 am. They finished up with 4 fish to 11.5 kg, now that’s not bad fishing for 4 hours by Angelo Dimakis and Tony Filippone.

There’s been a lot of good reports locally over the past couple of weeks from our anglers, as the fish are on. I had the privilege of venturing out with one of our more experienced anglers, Shane, who has a couple of great spots to fish locally. Although the first couple of marks had a stack of fish on the sounder, they just didn’t take a bite. We moved around from mark to mark with schools of snapper showing but it was time to fish one of Shane’s favourite marks.......Within 5 minutes of anchoring this mark, Shane was onto this 3.62 snapper. The fight was on and it was brilliant to see the action. Caught at 7.45am on Nov 1st.......Well done Shane...........

Shane with his 362kg Snapper caught on 1st Nov
